Governance and accountability
We believe how we work matters as much as what we do. This page describes how Gracious Givers Kenya approaches accountability today, and what we are strengthening as we grow.
Our commitments
Integrity
We work with honesty, accountability and respect.
Responsible resources
Budgeting, financial planning, donor compliance and internal systems are led by our Finance and Administration function, ensuring resources are used responsibly and programs are backed by clear financial and operational processes.
Evidence and learning
We collect feedback, track participation, document field lessons and use evidence to improve program quality.
Safeguarding and dignity
We are strengthening consent, safeguarding and respectful storytelling practices. When children, youth or vulnerable community members are involved, we take extra care in how their images and stories are used.
What we are strengthening
As we grow, we are strengthening monitoring, learning, safeguarding, governance and documentation. This includes formalizing our governance documentation, policies and reporting. We will publish these here as they are completed.
